If you love to read you know it can get expensive. But it doesn’t have to be.
There is always the library.. but sometimes you don’t have the time. So I found some other ways to snag some free YA books.
Don’t miss my post Earn Free Amazon Giftcards to Feed Your Book Addiction
Some of the below are affiliate links.
Audible Free Trial on Amazon– I took a quick look and saw some great titles (there are 1000’s) like City of Bones: The Mortal Instruments, The Fault in Our Stars and Salt to the Sea.
- Includes two free audiobooks with your free trial.
- Choose from 180,000+ best sellers, new releases sci-fi, romances, mysteries, classics, and more.
- After 30 days, get 1 book each month, $14.95/month
- Cancel easily anytime. Your books are yours to keep, even if you cancel.
AudioBooks.com– You can start a free 30 day trial here, too, and grab another free book
Join Amazon Kindle Unlimited 30-Day Free Trial– You’d be surprised at how many bestsellers on Kindle Unlimited… in fact there are over 80,000 YA books to choose from. If you decide to keep it Kindle Unlimited is $9.99 a month.
BookBub- Bookbub collects the best free and discounted eBooks around. Sign up and you will get a daily email alerting you to new choices.
Join my email list– When you sign up for the Jenetta Penner Book Club you will get access to 50 YA ebooks. Ok… so these are not all Amazon bestsellers, but some are… and hey, 50 FREE books! Score.
Overdrive– I’m probably the last person to know about Overdrive but it is an online site that works with your local library to provide you with eBooks. I’ve been able to read several bestselling books buy borrowing them throughout Overdrive. Just head over, set up your account and hook it up to your local library (and library card). When you download a book I believe you will have access to it for 2 weeks.
Some downsides to Overdrive are the books are limited to the ones your local library has access to and if they do have something great you will probably have to “wait in line” for it. But once it’s ready you will receive an email and you can log into your account and download the book to your Kindle or other device.
